Honoring Fathers, Celebrating New Beginnings, and Growing in Discipleship

On June 20, 2026, the Berean Seventh-day Adventist Church family gathered for a memorable day of worship, fellowship, and celebration as we honored fathers and witnessed lives being transformed through baptism.

As part of our Father's Day celebration, the church paid special tribute to all fathers and father figures for their love, leadership, sacrifice, and dedication to their families. A touching segment of the service featured several young people sharing heartfelt remarks about their fathers, expressing gratitude for their guidance, support, and positive influence. Their words served as a beautiful reminder of the important role fathers play in shaping the lives of their children and strengthening the family unit.

The service also included a special child dedication ceremony, during which parents publicly committed to raising their child in the love, knowledge, and admonition of the Lord. The congregation joined in prayer and support, affirming its commitment to encourage and nurture the family's spiritual journey.

The congregation was further blessed by a powerful message from our Senior Pastor, Dr. Honoré, who continued with Part 5 of the church's Discipleship Sermon Series entitled "The Way to a Man's Heart".

Adding to the joy of the day, four candidates publicly declared their faith in Jesus Christ through the ordinance of baptism. Family members, friends, and the entire church rejoiced as these individuals took this important step in their spiritual journey. Their decision serves as a testimony to God's transforming power and His continued work in the lives of His people.

Following the worship service, the celebration continued with a special dinner dedicated to all fathers in appreciation for their faithful service to their families, church, and community. The meal provided a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, encouragement, and reflection on God's blessings.

It was truly a Sabbath filled with gratitude, celebration, and spiritual growth. We thank God for our fathers, rejoice with our newly baptized members, celebrate the child dedication, and look forward to continuing our journey of discipleship together as a church family.
