Domestic violence and intimate partner violence affect people in every community, including our churches. Yet these experiences are often difficult to talk about, and survivors may feel isolated, ashamed, or afraid to ask for help.
As a church, we believe we have a responsibility to listen, learn, support survivors, and speak about this issue with compassion and courage. Silence can leave people feeling even more alone.
Don’t remain silent. You are not alone. We see you. We hear you. We stand with you.
